i have a storie
when i bought my 73 Scamp (peanutbutter with white int.) it looked just like grandma's car. It was an exceptionally clean survivor. black steel's with ply centers and 7"whitewalls.
it came with a /6. Every time i would take it out some mustang or camaro would rev there motor or tease along side of me.
id just wave them on bye...
then when i installed the 340-727 an 8.75 w/3.55sg and tti 3" exhaust it still looked the same but no body would mess with me. i cant think of any time i was messed with. i drove it like and old lady. and it still had the old lady wheels on it . but anyway no takers.
It went 13.49 in the 1/4 and 8.30's in the 1/8th with the skinny little 7" white walls.. that however did get me alot of attention....
i should have kept that one....

My 69` Dart "Before"
The car as pictured had a W2 340 +.030 / TF + 4500 stall Turbo Action conv. ran 10.97 / 124.35 . Has been in a slow rebuild for the last few years will be running a 528 or 572 Indy Hemi , either a P/G or a T/F , the car has been lightenned up with a Magnum Force front end and Wilwood disks all around, glass front end , doors , and decklid. It has a full cage , ladderbar /floater suspension and a 44" DANA 60. Ijust talked to the bodyshop today and it sounds like the new colors are going on next week ! Can`t wait ! New pics to follow.

Here's the smallest Mopar in my stable, my '71 Dart Swinger.
I've been out of racing for a couple of years now, ever since the engine broke a piston and tore up a cylinder. I plan to spend some money first at my other cars before I dive into the dragrace-business again.
But I already got some nice parts lying around waiting for installation...
I've got 5 more cars which you can find on my site, http://mopar.2ya.com
