Toyota in the news again

Toyota recalls 412000 cars for faulty steering.

(I didn't post the story---just the headline)

This is starting to sound like Tojo has a serious problem. I'm thinking the "witch hunt" is over, and the truth is coming out.

Actually, when I think about it, this isn't news. Toyota has been the leader for recalls for several years.

My first foreign car might end up being a Honda.

412000 CARS! That's a schit load of cars! Compare that many cars to $412,000.00. That's a lot. Almost 1/2 a million freaking cars! We need to stop selling scrap steel to Japan.

O see a ton of Honda's in the shop and most are only there for routine maintenance. Now Toyota on the other hand are scrap piles....I'd still take a VW over any of them though. I bet if toyota was manned by UAW employees this wouldn't have happened

A honda's biggest enemy is an abusive owner that doesn't change the timing belt before it breaks.

I pulled into the driveway and accidently bumped the bumper of my daughter-in-law's Tojotah Corrola. The screw on the license plate made a scratch. She's been (jokingly) riding my ass every since it happened. I told her that if she really knew how I felt about Tojo cars she should be quiet....and be thankful I let her park that POS in my driveway.
She and my son are driving (200 miles round trip) to the airport today to pick up her daughters. They are taking our Chrysler 300!!!! She told me I could driver her car to work and I said NO. She says: "I trust you." I said: "Sorry, but I need to get to work safely...and on time....I can't afford to be fired!"
We drove that scrap pile from North Carolina back to Ohio. When I got out of it and into the 300 I felt like I was in heaven . . . again.....
So far they have had it back to the dealer 2 times for recalls, and I think there is one more to be addressed.
All I have done to the 300 in almost 6 years is to have the rear Chrysler emblem re-glued.
